Today we are having a look at the Stamina 1205 Precision Rower which is another home rower that is portable, easy to assemble and does not take up a lot of space. If you check out our Concept 2 rowing machine review you will see that it is our best choice.
However sometimes you have not got the room or you are just using rowing to try and burn some fat and then the actual rowing action is not as important as the exercise. Or maybe you are a rower but you just want to work your way up to the real deal.
The Stamina 1205 Precision rower will give you a ball bearing rolling system for the seat that works well and the resistance is hydraulic with adjustable tension controls. You also get a thick padded seat for comfort and the footplates pivot to give you maximum comfort and stability.
This rower is another really good choice if you have limited room for your workout and it is only 32.5 inches wide and 48 inches long. You also have a monitor with the rower that will show your speed, distance, time, stroke count and calories burned.
The warranty is also very good on the Stamina 1205 Precision Rower as you will get a 90 day warranty on the parts and a whopping 5 years on the frame.
Looking at the customer verdict of the Stamina 1205 Precision Rower it seems an awesome rower for the price and the main pros is that for the price you get a very sturdy machine. It is solid, stable and will not rock when you are using it which is good and impressive as it is so light!
- Precision rowing machine with deluxe ball-bearing rolling system
- Smooth hydraulic cylinder action with adjustable tension controls
- Multifunction fitness monitor tracks speed, distance, strokes, and more
- Thick padded seat and pivoting footplates for maximum comfort
- Measures 32.5 x 27.75 x 48 inches (W x H x D); weighs 47 pounds
Further to that point you will find the 1205 Precision Rower really quiet and if you live in an apartment you should be able to use this even if people are below you and the other cool thing is that you can watch TV or listen to music and be able to hear it.
The seat is very comfortable and you should be able to get a decent workout without having to worry about discomfort.
The main cons are that the rower will not fold, collapse or stand up vertically, so ironically although it is awesome for lack of space, you will need adequate space to store it.
Set up can be a little tricky but you should be able to get set up within 20 mins!
Other than that the Stamina 1205 Precision Rower seems an awesome rower for the price and as long as you have somewhere to store it and you don’t need a REAL rowing action this is an awesome buy for the money!

Probably one of the best rowers I’ve ever used.
It was easy to assembly, and looks and feels really solid.
Lots of adjustment in the “power level” – from really easy to really hard. Read More At Amazon.com…

I had one of these similar many years ago and let it go at a garage sale. Dumb idea! As I get older, this Stamina machine has replaced it and is giving me all the exercise I need. Good to set in front of the tv and row for 30 minutes. Read More At Amazon.com…
